What you can do inside a lit match 1v1
Video is the default: both cameras on, face to face, talking like you would across a table. If one of you would rather hear than be seen, a voice-only chat works too. And when the camera feels like too much for the moment, the two of you can keep it to text and switch to cam later — the room stays exactly the same size either way.
What you will not find is a crowd. There is no group mode to wander into and nobody watching from the sidelines. Every lit match 1v1 is a closed room with two people in it, and when either of you taps next, that room is gone and a fresh one opens with someone new.
Getting the most out of one-on-one
One-on-one rewards small effort. Greet the person in the first few seconds — silence kills more matches than looks ever will. Ask about something you can see in their room. And keep your own camera well lit, because a face people can actually see gets longer conversations than a silhouette.
